Job description

Job Duties: Coordinate the development and delivery of software products from design to deployment. Drive technical decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with company objectives. Provide development sizing, cost analysis, and project estimates in collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum Masters. Prototype and validate application solutions to meet business requirements. Maintain a hands-on approach by contributing to coding, design, and architecture reviews. Mentor and guide a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, on-time software releases. Promote Agile practices, influence team members to follow standards, and resolve roadblocks. Contribute to performance engineering, CICD improvements, and application reliability. Identify and mitigate technology risks early through proactive planning.

Requirements

Job Requirements: Requires Bachelor's degreee in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 60 months of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in a related occupation. . Experience must include 60 months of experience involving the following: GitHub Copilot-assisted development; C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Web API engineering and modernization; Mainframe and COBOL modernization, and software currency and platform upgrades; Site Reliability & Performance Engineering, including SRE for ASP.NET Web APIs, and performance testing and tuning using JMeter and SteelToe (PCF); Splunk-based monitoring, log analysis, root cause analysis, and remediation; and Unit, integration, and API testing, including security and code quality scanning (Veracode or Sonar), and CI/CD delivery using Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
