Help

  • Responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing the activities of subordinate employees involved in the integration of automated information system requirements for assigned Automated Information Systems (AISs).
  • Participates with other supervisors as a DLA/Department of Defense (DoD) representative in major project actions relating to systems development, integration, conversion, training and implementation.
  • Provides technical knowledge and expertise on industry-standard tools, methods and procedures for requirements definition and recommends implementation, revision, supplementation for the Agency.
  • Participates in strategic planning activities; develops, executes, and enforces assigned portions of standard methods, procedures, and tools to satisfy customers with quality products and services.
  • Oversees test execution for the WMS SAP ecosystem (TM, EWM, VSM, AIF, S/4), including manual, automated, regression, and integration testing to ensure seamless system functionality and reliability.
  • Manages the complete defect lifecycle from tracking to resolution and coordinates with business users to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring all business requirements are met.
  • Provides leadership and professional development to testing staff, while overseeing the design and execution of test events to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality WMS solutions., Manages aspects of projects such as evaluation of staffing, realignment of personnel and workload to accommodate mission requirements.
  • Administer and manage IT projects associated with the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of application software which provides agreements management capabilities.
  • Analyze customer requirements and recommend business and systems improvements related to agreements management.
  • Apply IT principles, methods, policies and regulations to system analysis and modification.
  • Develops, reviews, and executes interface agreements with customers.
  • Identifies and resolves customer support problems.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience., The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is committed to maintaining a safe, drug-free workplace. Applicants tentatively selected for employment in testing designated positions will undergo a urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Refusal to undergo testing or testing positive for illegal drugs will result in withdrawal of the tentative job offer and a six-month denial of employment with DLA from the date of the drug test. Employees in drug testing designated positions are subject to random drug testing.

The DLA drug testing panel tests for the following substances: marijuana, cocaine, opiates, heroin, phencyclidine, amphetamines, methamphetamines, fentanyl, norfentanyl, methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDA), and opioids.

ADVISORY: Use of cannabidiol (CBD) products may result in a positive drug test for marijuana. DLA employees are subject to Federal law and under Federal law, Marijuana is a Schedule I drug and is illegal.

A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.
