Job description
- Integrate, configure, and deploy software components across multiple environments (development, test, staging, and production)
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis across application, OS, container, and network layers
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and utilities using Bash and Python to support integration, deployment, and sustainment activities
- Support containerized application deployments using Kubernetes, including cluster operations, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure repeatable and consistent environment builds
- Utilize Git for version control and configuration management across software baselines and release workflows
- Support system verification activities including integration testing, regression testing, and deployment validation
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, integration runbooks, and installation/troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with software development, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure system readiness and compliance
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph
- 15+ years of experience supporting software integration, deployment, or systems engineering efforts
- Demonstrated expertise using Linux CLI tools for system administration and diagnostics
- Proficiency developing automation using Bash and Python
- Strong troubleshooting skills supporting distributed systems and container-based architectures
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in operational or lab environments
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.)
- Strong experience with Git and version-controlled workflows
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced mission environment with minimal oversight
Benefits & conditions
USD $160,000.00 - USD $210,000.00 /Yr.
