Job description

You will shape how hundreds of engineers build and deploy software at Hadrian. As a Developer Experience Engineer, you'll write Go, Python, and TypeScript to build the tools, CLIs, and automation that make complex infrastructure feel simple. You'll develop Kubernetes operators, create ChatOps integrations, and design configuration systems with CUE that eliminate toil. This role combines software engineering excellence with platform thinking-you'll build the developer platform that accelerates our manufacturing innovation.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering skills in Go, Python, or TypeScript.

  • Experience building developer tools, CLIs, or automation.

  • Understanding of Kubernetes APIs and operator patterns.

  • Familiarity with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).

  • Experience with configuration languages (CUE, Jsonnet, or similar).

  • API design and integration experience.

  • Strong focus on developer experience and usability.

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build systems.

  • Experience with observability and monitoring.

  • Ability to understand and simplify complex systems.

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

  • Passion for automation and eliminating toil.

For this role, the target salary range is $120,000 - $200,000 (actual range may vary based on experience)., + Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees
