We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager, to support technology initiatives within a large-scale global manufacturing environment.
This role will focus on projects tied to shop floor / plant applications, partnering closely with IT, PMO leadership, and plant stakeholders across multiple locations.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong ownership, proactive communication, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, fluid environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable driving projects forward with minimal direction., t
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects supporting plant and shop floor systems \t
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and success criteria \t
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and financial tracking \t
- Partner directly with plant leadership, directors, and cross-functional teams \t
- Drive proactive communication of project status, risks, and milestones \t
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and issues\u2014taking ownership of resolution \t
- Ensure alignment with PMO processes, including documentation and change control \t
- Submit and manage change requests when projects deviate from plan \t
- Create clear, concise executive-level reporting and presentations \t
- Maintain strong documentation, meeting notes, and consistent stakeholder updates \t
- Motivate teams and drive accountability to meet project objectives
Requirements
**8-10+ years of IT project management experience is REQUIRED. ** The ideal candidate brings experience delivering projects in manufacturing environments., t
- 8\u201310+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager \t
- Experience delivering projects in manufacturing, industrial, or plant environments \t
- Strong understanding of shop floor systems, ERP integrations, or plant applications \t
- Proven ability to manage project financials, timelines, and reporting \t
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint \t
- Experience operating within a structured PMO environment (governance, documentation, change control) \t
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels \t
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented
