Azure Data Engineer

Vaco\u2019s client is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to support the design and development of modern cloud-based data platforms. This role will focus on building scalable data pipelines and supporting analytics and AI initiatives within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem., * Design and develop data pipelines and ingestion frameworks

• Build and maintain data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouse architectures
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Synapse
• Optimize data processing and transformation workflows
• Collaborate with analytics teams to support reporting, BI, and AI use cases
• Implement data governance, monitoring, and performance optimization
• Work closely with architects and platform teams on cloud data architecture

• Experience building data pipelines in Microsoft Azure
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, or Fabric
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience
• Experience with Python or Spark-based data processing
• Understanding of data lake and data warehouse architecture
• Familiarity with Power BI or analytics platforms is a plus
