Job description
Solution Design & Delivery:
- Develop enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions for pharmacy workflows (e.g., prior authorization, refill management, patient assistance programs).
- Build secure Canvas and Model-Driven apps, Power Pages portals for health system and pharmacy users, prescribers and payers, and automated flows for specialty drug processes.
- Ensure solutions meet HIPAA, PHI protection, and audit trail requirements.
- Integration & Data Management:
- Integrate with pharmacy systems (e.g., EHR, Enterprise Rx, data warehouse, EPIC, CRM, and specialty drug hubs) using custom connectors and Azure services.
- Model data in Dataverse with strong governance for drug, payer, manufacturer, patient and prescription data.
- Implement electronic signature, audit logging, and data retention policies for compliance
Governance & ALM:
- Apply Center of Excellence (CoE) standards for environment management, Data Loss Policies (DLP), and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
- Manage code for development, testing and deployments, including validation and documentation for audits.
Security & Compliance:
- Enforce role-based access control (RBAC), conditional access, and encryption for Personal Health Information (PHI).
- Collaborate with compliance, corporate and Pharmacy IT teams to maintain adherence to HIPAA, as well as corporate, state, and federal regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with pharmacists, specialty pharmacy operations, clinical, IT security, and compliance teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Participate in corporate user groups and provide technical leadership for citizen developers.
Requirements
- B.S./B.A. 4-year college degree in computer science, software engineering or other directly related field
- 5 years Experience in software development or software maintenance with demonstrated understanding of a disciplined SDLC process that creates sustainable and reliable solutions
- 3 years In enterprise development with 3+ current years on Power Platform
- 2 years Of SOL coding experience (any)
- 2 years Experience in creating and maintaining databases
- Microsoft Power Platform. Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400), * M.A./M.S. Advanced degree in computer science, software engineering or other directly related field
- Coursework or certifications in healthcare IT or compliance
- 2 years Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, claims processing, data warehouse and specialty drug programs
- 1 year Experience working in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industies
- 4 years Of SQL and relational database experience
- 3 years Experience with MS Power BI
- Compliance. HIPPA, state and federal health and pharmacy regulation knowledge.
- Personal Health Information. Understanding of Personal Health Information (PHI) handling and data encryption
- Azure PL-600 (Solutions Architect), Azure certifications, and healthcare compliance training

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
