Job description
Position Overview: We are seeking a Zscaler technician who is responsible for implementing, managing, and troubleshooting Zscaler's cloud security solutions, primarily ZIA (Internet Access) and ZPA (Private Access) and ensure secure network connectivity, optimize security policies, and provide technical support to resolve complex connectivity and user-access issues., * Implementation & Configuration: Deploy, configure, and maintain Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) environments.
- Troubleshooting: Analyze network issues involving HTTP/HTTPS traffic, SSL inspection, DNS, firewalls, and authentication methods (SAML, SCIM, Active Directory).
- Support & Incident Management: Act as a front-line or escalation point for complex technical issues, providing, and debugging solutions.
- Optimization & Policy: Proactively monitor and tune Zscaler policies, including DLP, CASB, and threat protection to improve performance and security.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including SOPs, network diagrams, and root cause analyses.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Zscaler and network security
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP), OSI layers, VPNs, and cloud-based security models (SASE/Zero Trust).
- Troubleshooting Tools: Proficiency with network packet analysis tools such as Wireshark.
- Scripting (Preferred): Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
