VMWare Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VMWare Engineer to join our IT team. As the SME for VMware platforms, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing our VMware infrastructure to support critical national security functions. This role requires in-depth knowledge of VMware solutions, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a strategic mindset to ensure the scalability, efficiency, and security of our virtual environments. You will utilize your expertise in VMware virtualization, cloud integration, and related technologies. This is a fantastic opportunity someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about leveraging the latest VMware innovations to drive national security., * 2+ years of experience with VMware, including vSphere, ESXi, v Center Server, vSphere Client, NSX, and vSAN

• 2+ years of experience with Linux and Windows Administration
• Experience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell
• Experience with identity and access management solutions such as Active Directory
• Experience with Sponsor A & A processes and systems
• Experience performing security scanning and remediating vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of network fundamentals, including TCP / IP, DNS, and DHCP
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• 2+ years of experience with Citrix Cloud and on-premises deployments
• 2+ years of experience with Citrix Workspace, Citrix Gateway, and Citrix ADC
• 2+ years of experience with Configuration as Code ( CaC ) , including Ansible, Chef, and Puppet
• Experience with AWS, including EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS, OCI, and Azure
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) such as Terraform
• Experience working on a large team
• Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
