Software Engineer

Applicant will Review functional requirements and determine "Happy Path" and "Corner Case" scenarios to fully exercise the requirement. Applicant will be responsible for creating software test scripts in Python or SWAT (client proprietary scripting language) to conduct safety critical qualification testing. Applicant will perform Software Quality Testing (SQT) onsite in the labs Applicant will create Software Test Reports and host reviews with internal and external customers. Applicant will work with the development team to diagnose and update scripts for software defects . Applicant will contribute to test automation efforts by automating existing manual test cases Applicant will create/update automation pipelines Applicant will create/update Confluence Dashboards from GitLab data Applicant will be expected to have good oral and written communication skills.

5 years of Python Scripting Experience 5 years of Functional test case development 5 years experience of software development on a Linux environment 5 years experience developing software in a Linux Environments (SUSE or RedHat) 2 years experience authoring software requirements 2 years experience with GitLab pipelines 2 years experience using Jira to work/track software development 2 years experience with Agile software development, Accredited Bachelor's Degree
