Job description
You'll work closely with product, architects, engineers, and UX teams to build features that delight millions of Trailblazers. This role requires designing elegant solutions while minimizing technical debt-a rare opportunity to positively impact users developing new skills and launching new careers., * Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions using best practices and new technologies when needed
- Develop end-to-end solutions including custom platform development (APEX, Triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce) and external integrations (middleware, APIs)
- Automate business processes using Salesforce tools (Process Builder, Workflows, Flow, etc.)
- Participate in all SDLC phases: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Conduct peer code reviews, unit testing, and provide application support with root cause analysis
- Build trusted working relationships with global teams and engage effectively via virtual technologies
Requirements
You'll design, write, and review maintainable code, provide technical direction, stay current with industry trends, and deliver durable, extensible solutions for complex features. This fast-paced role requires quick learning, self-motivation, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines., * Related technical degree and 6+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Technical Expertise: Lightning, Customer 360, Apex/SOQL/LWC/Web Services, JavaScript or related frameworks (React), Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
- Platform Knowledge: AppExchange app development, package creation, deployment pipelines (Salesforce DX, GitHub Actions, Jenkins), scratch org/source-driven development, SFDC governor limits and best practices
- Certifications: Relevant Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer, Platform App Builder, Administrator)
- Integration & Architecture: MuleSoft, data migrations, API calls, custom integrations, Identity/SAML, cross-cloud integrations, distributed system design
- Development Practices: Git and branching strategies, SDLC/Agile methodologies, OOP principles, design patterns, performance optimization
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
DESIRED SKILLS
- Education/Learning technology domain experience, third-party system integrations, eCommerce experience
