Systems Engineer

This role willsupport our systems engineering transformation while the Systems Engineering Capability Lead is on leave. The role will focus on helping teams improve how they write needs and requirements, support a system-of-systems pilot, and assist a team using Jama Connect. This position combines hands-on systems engineering work with coaching teams to apply better systems engineering practices.

What You'll Do:

• Coach teams on writing clear, high-quality needs and requirements
• Improve requirement decomposition, traceability, and integration
• Define and clarify system boundaries, interfaces, and ownership
• Support cross-team alignment during system-of-systems pilot activities
• Guide the Jama Connect pilot team on requirement structure and traceability
• Gather feedback and improve requirements processes and tools
• Deliver workshops and one-on-one coaching to engineering teams
• Introduce practical systems engineering methods to improve clarity and reduce conflict
• Influence engineering, product, and program teams to adopt better requirements practices

Do you have experience in Writing skills?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's degree in Systems Engineering or INCOSE CSEP/ESEP certification preferred

• 12+ years of experience in systems engineering for complex products
• Degree in Systems Engineering or a related field
• Strong expertise in writing needs and requirements
• Experience with requirement decomposition, traceability, and interface management
• Ability to coach teams and improve systems engineering practices
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Experience with Jama Connect, consumer electronics, or hardware-software products is a plus
