Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as the primary responsibility area, complemented by working knowledge of Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will bring strong skills in cloud administration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and identity management through Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). This role is critical to ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments., GCP Infrastructure Administration (Primary)

  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

  • Implement best practices for scalability, security, performance, and cost optimization.

  • Administer core GCP services including Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage, and Network Services.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Terraform scripts for provisioning and configuration automation.

  • Integrate IaC artifacts into CI/CD pipelines for streamlined, repeatable deployments.

Azure Cloud (Secondary)

  • Provide support for select Azure-based workloads and services.

  • Assist with hybrid-cloud initiatives, including integration, workload placement, and cloud migration projects.

Identity & Access Management

  • Utilize Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for authentication, identity lifecycle, and access governance.

  • Ensure adherence to enterprise security policies, compliance frameworks, and governance controls.

System Administration

  • Oversee administration of Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and storage systems.

  • Implement and maintain monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology or related field, and 8 years' experience required.

  • Applicable years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement.

  • Expert in applying IT system principles, concepts, and methods to the infrastructure protection environment.

  • Expert in applying information systems security principles and concepts to the enterprise IT architecture.

  • Expert in applying new IT developments.

  • Expert in applying project management principles and methods.

  • Expert in applying interrelationships of multiple IT disciplines.
