Job description

The Manager, Pharmacy Technology & Analytics provides leadership and operational oversight across application management, data analytics, and IT operations within the pharmacy department. In collaboration with Denver Health IT, this role ensures the seamless integration and support of pharmacy-related software systems, data platforms, and server infrastructure to meet pharmacy department and organizational goals. The manager drives innovation, maintain pharmacy-system integrity, and deliver actionable insights that support patient care and pharmacy operations., * Directs a team of pharmacy data analysts to deliver high-quality, actionable insights for pharmacy operations, clinical programs, and learner projects. Develops and executes a strategic pharmacy data analytics roadmap aligned with pharmacy and IT goals. Standardizes analytic processes including intake, goal definition, and reporting. Partners with stakeholders to define requirements and present findings to pharmacy and IT leadership. (35%)

  • Partners with Denver Health IT to support and maintain pharmacy-related applications and hardware. Contributes to the technical configuration, enhancements, and integration of pharmacy application systems. Collaborates with vendors and internal teams to optimize application and hardware performance for pharmacy needs. (35%)
  • Develops department standard work for pharmacy IT disaster recovery planning and system monitoring. Enforces change control processes and ensure compliance with security standards. (20%)
  • Manages cross-functional teams, including hiring, training, and performance management. Aligns departmental goals with pharmacy and IT strategy through planning and prioritization. Fosters a culture of continuous improvement using Lean methodologies. (10%)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

Work Experience:

  • 4-6 years experience in Information Systems Required
  • 1-3 years experience in data analysis and/or application support Required
  • 1-3 years supervisory/managerial leadership experience preferred
  • 1-3 years experience in a health care setting/system preferred, * Strong business acumen and technical proficiency in SQL Server, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, data analysis, system configuration, and project management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of IT operations, databases, and pharmacy application and hardware lifecycle management.
