Normal schedule Pay Range $54.90 - $82.35 Major Responsibilities:
- Day-to-Day Operations & Execution
-
Own daily operational oversight of The Beacon, serving as the central point of coordination across internal teams, vendors, and partners.

Translate strategic direction into clear workplans, timelines, and deliverables.

Ensure operational systems, workflows, and governance structures are documented, functional, and scalable.

Proactively identify risks, barriers, and dependencies and escalate issues requiring immediate attention.
- Program Development & Launch Readiness
-
Manage a defined portfolio of Beacon programs, ensuring each progresses along a clear maturity pathway (design * pilot * refinement * launch).

Track readiness milestones with the goal of having priority programs launch-ready by Spring 2027 launch.

Support program leads and anchor partners with operational guidance, timelines, and accountability frameworks.

Ensure program scopes, budgets, staffing models, and evaluation metrics are clearly defined and actively managed.
- Anchor Partner Management
-
Serve as the primary operational liaison for Beacon anchor partners, in partnership with Division/ CCI Leadership.

Ensure partner scopes of work are clearly defined, on schedule, on budget, and aligned with Beacon outcomes and expectations, in partnership with real estate.

Coordinate regular partner check-ins, progress reporting, and issue resolution.

Flag misalignment early and recommend course corrections in partnership with executive leadership.
- Construction & Facilities Coordination

Align build-out timelines with program and partner readiness.

Translate operational needs into space planning and functional requirements.

Support decision-making around sequencing, priorities, and use cases.

Ensure leadership receives timely, digestible updates on construction progress, risks, and key decision points.
- Internal Communication & Reporting

Establish and maintain regular update rhythms (weekly, monthly, milestone-based) for internal stakeholders.

Ensure timely communication of progress updates, risks and delays, decisions requiring executive input, and matters needing immediate attention.

Develop concise dashboards, briefs, and summaries to support informed leadership decisions.
- Community Activation & Pre-Opening Strategy

Lead operational planning and execution for pre-opening community activation, including groundbreaking events, grand opening coordination, the Summer Program Preview Series, and the Community Advisory Committee.

Work closely with communications, marketing, branding, government affairs, and community partners to ensure activities are cohesive, inclusive, and mission-aligned.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Nonprofit Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience., * Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in operations management, program management, or cross-functional project leadership.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multistakeholder initiatives that include external partners, vendors, or community organizations.
- Proven track record translating strategy into workplans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Experience supporting program launch, scale, or operational readiness within a matrixed organization.
- Experience operating in environments with high ambiguity, multiple dependencies, and tight timelines.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Strong working knowledge of program management methodologies, milestone tracking, risk management, and dependency planning.

Experience developing and maintaining operational dashboards, readiness trackers, and executive level summaries.

Ability to manage budgets, scopes, and staffing models at a program or portfolio level.

Familiarity with construction or facilities coordination as it relates to operational readiness (space planning, sequencing, functional requirements).

Proficiency in common enterprise tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, project management platforms).

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Preferred Job Requirements Preferred Education
- Master's degree in Public Health (MPH), Business Administration (MBA), Urban Planning (MUP), Health Administration (MHA), or a closely related discipline.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in or alongside:
- Health systems, academic medical centers, or public private partnerships
- Community based or place based initiatives
- Large capital or facility based projects involving construction or buildout
- Direct experience managing anchor partners or contractual scopes of work.
- Experience supporting preopening activation, community engagement, or public facing launch activities.
