Job description

The Enterprise Data Office (EDO) provides strategic direction and guidance for effective data management and governance across all divisions. We are seeking a Data Governance Senior to lead and support our enterprise data governance initiatives. This role will serve as a primary subject matter expert for governance frameworks, data management processes, and related technologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

This is a role within Enterprise data governance team. We act as trusted advisors to our stakeholders and proactively support them in identifying and managing data and data risks that may impede divisions from meeting its business objectives.

Your Impact:

As a Data Governance Senior, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our data management strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategically support the Collibra platform, including overseeing integrations, workflow automation, metadata management, and user adoption. Drive enhancements and ensure seamless integration with other enterprise data platforms.
  • Develop, and enhance enterprise-wide data management requirements, and procedures to ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Define, execute, and monitor data management controls. Lead control self-testing and remediation activities, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to enhance data governance processes and tool usage.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in enterprise data governance and data management technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of current and hands on experience with Collibra
  • Experience with data governance frameworks, tools, and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data management, governance controls, and best practices.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional meetings and leading governance forums.
  • Effective communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office O365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working in Agile/Modern Delivery teams is a plus.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $103,000 - $155,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
