Machine Learning (ML) Senior Specialist

Peraton seeks a Machine Learning (ML) Senior Specialist to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support. Location: Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy machine learning models and pipelines within Caspian and JCRS-D environments, ensuring scalable and reproducible ML operations. You will operate as part of the Data Science Team., Design and implement ML pipelines using DevSecOps/CDSO framework

• Build, test, and deploy models within Caspian and JCRS-D platforms
• Create algorithms to identify threat patterns and forecast risk
• Implement MLOps practices for model versioning and monitoring
• Optimize model performance and scalability
• Collaborate with data engineers on production deployment

• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.

• Expert proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)

• Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker)

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with distributed computing (Spark ML)

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for ML Must have AWS/Azure ML certifications

• U.S Citizenship required

• DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance, * Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field

• 12 years of specific experience

• Certifications (Kubernetes)
