- Lead and mentor a high-performing, distributed engineering team, fostering technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Define and execute the long-term technical strategy and roadmap for the AI Platform and Enablement team and advise GUSTO leadership on strategic AI investments and trends.
- Drive the design, development, and scaling of a common AI platform to accelerate the delivery of AI-powered security features.
- Foster a culture of innovation and enablement, empowering GUSTO teams to build high-quality AI features through robust frameworks.
- Lead the development of flagship, end-to-end AI-driven security solutions from research to production and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure impactful customer value.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in software development, with 10 years in a technical leadership role.
- Experience leading and managing a team of software engineers.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: AI/ML, platform development, distributed systems, cybersecurity., * Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience building and scaling AI platforms, infrastructure, and end-to-end security solutions.
- Experience building and leading large-scale, distributed engineering teams and setting long-term technical vision.
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders, from engineers to senior executives.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of driving cross-functional technical strategy.
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, specifically with large language models and generative AI applications.

- Paid Time Off: 20 days of vacation per year, accruing at a rate of 6.15 hours per pay period for the first five years of employment

- Maternity Leave (Short-Term Disability + Baby Bonding): 28-30 weeks
- Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks
- Holidays: 13 paid days per year, The US base salary range for this full-time position is $307,000-$427,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
