Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer, Identity and Access Management to join our growing IT team. You will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, maintenance, and integration of IAM solutions that ensure secure access to our systems and data. Your foundational knowledge in directory services, authentication protocols, and automation will be valuable in ensuring the efficiency and security of our IT infrastructure., * Support IAM solutions: Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and efficient Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across our IT infrastructure. This includes directory services, authentication systems, and access control mechanisms.
- Assist with automation: Support the streamlining of user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management processes through automation scripts and workflows.
- Integrate and optimize: Help ensure the seamless integration of IAM systems with existing IT infrastructure, applications, and cloud services. This involves working with APIs, various authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth).
- Troubleshoot and support: Provide technical support for IAM-related issues, resolving problems, and assisting in system stability and performance.
- Share your knowledge: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation for IAM systems and processes.

Requirements
- IAM Experience: 4+ years of experience in supporting and managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions in an IT environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with directory services (Active Directory, LDAP), authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), and basic access control models.
- Automation Skills: Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python to assist with IAM tasks and workflows.
- Cloud IAM Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud-based identity solutions (Azure AD, AWS or similar) is desirable.
- Security Mindset: A basic understanding of security best practices related to IAM, including authentication, authorization, and access control.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various IT teams, security personnel, and business stakeholders.
We'll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:
- DevOps mindset: Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and configuration management tools (like Ansible, Chef, or Terraform).
- Security certifications: Holding relevant security certifications at an entry or associate level.
- Experience with advanced IAM concepts: Familiarity with concepts like Zero Trust security, risk-based authentication, and identity governance frameworks.
