Requirements

The Sr. Oracle Database Administrator / Engineer supports a high-visibility mission environment by providing expert-level database administration, engineering, and operational sustainment for enterprise-scale Oracle database systems. This role involves managing large, complex Oracle environments, executing database design and modeling activities, and ensuring system reliability, performance, and availability. The administrator works across multiple secure locations-including Oracle SCIF spaces-and may support evening and weekend operations as needed. This position requires strong independence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into effective database solutions., * 10 + years' experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Oracle's database. Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.

  • Significant experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery.
  • Experience with DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration.
  • Bachelors in Cybersecurity or related course of study, or equivalent years' experience.
  • Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.
  • Must be CompTIA Security + certified
