Job description

IT Systems Support Technician: Systems Support Supervisor: Ensures the smooth operation and maintenance of IT systems, including workstations, servers, and network infrastructure, while providing technical support and troubleshooting. They also develop training materials, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively with leadership to implement solutions and preventive measures., * Resolve and log emails sent to IT support.

  • Respond and resolve IT related issues over the phone.
  • Setup, maintain, troubleshoot company mobile phones
  • Desktop and laptop PCs:
  • Installation of operating system and user applications
  • Routine maintenance
  • Data recovery
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Implement anti-virus software and use for virus and spyware removal as needed
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot printers of all types including laser, thermal, and impact.
  • Provide support to Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGV).
  • Resolve any Microsoft imbedded OS configuration issues
  • Resolve any mobile and wireless devices.
  • Setup, configure, and troubleshoot network devices and infrastructure
  • Process approved "I. T Request" forms which could include:
  • Creating new user accounts for warehouse software
  • Creating new domain/AD accounts
  • Create and link shared folders
  • Relocating users and hardware within the facility
  • Changing users access within warehouse software
  • Maintain a clean, neat, organized work area.
  • Updating equipment inventory and maintaining assets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Customer service?, * Strong in Windows OS and Office applications.

  • Have experience with network technologies such as switches, routers, access points, etc.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Strong analytical and technical ability to solve complex problems.
  • Strong organizational skills needed. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.
  • Knowledge of Linux is a plus.
  • Warehouse experience and warehouse IT experience is a plus.
  • Logistics understanding and technology related to logistics within a warehouse environment is a plus.
  • Past work or understanding the process of AGVs is a plus.
