Job description
We are looking for a skilled UX/UI Designer to join our team in Los Angeles, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in designing user-focused interfaces for complex, data-driven applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead design efforts from concept to delivery while collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end design process for enterprise applications, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and creating high-fidelity mockups using Figma.
Translate ambiguous or incomplete requirements into actionable design briefs and facilitate alignment among stakeholders.
Design intuitive interfaces for dashboards, analytics views, and workflows, ensuring usability for large datasets through pagination, filtering, and sorting.
Develop functional prototypes to validate ideas early in the design process, utilizing Figma and AI tools.
Maintain attention to detail by addressing edge cases, error states, and loading scenarios, ensuring designs are production-ready.
Architect and manage a scalable design system in Figma, complete with components, tokens, and thorough documentation.
Integrate AI tools into the design workflow to enhance efficiency and explore innovative solutions for AI-native features.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless design handoff and implementation, addressing design drift proactively.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing work on complex, data-intensive enterprise applications. Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, design tokens, auto-layout, and prototyping. Expertise in designing interfaces for data-heavy applications, such as dashboards, tables, and multi-step workflows. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, making informed decisions with incomplete information. Proven ability to turn vague requirements into actionable design plans and facilitate consensus among stakeholders. Self-motivated and capable of managing workload independently while delivering high-quality results. Experience with rapid prototyping using Figma, AI tools, or lightweight code. Familiarity with UX tools such as Adobe XD and wireframing techniques.
