Job description
The Systems Analyst is responsible for providing support related to the finance software applications, the corresponding data and reporting. The support includes, but is not limited to, providing support to the finance caregivers with application and reporting related questions, staff training and participating as a team member on finance project initiatives., * Provides support of finance software applications, data, user access and permissions, configuration, testing, integrations, and reporting. Finance applications include but are not limited to Accounting, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Assets, Projects, Endowments, Sponsored Programs, and Banking.
- Maintains reference data, configures business processes, develops reports and other activities related to Finance and corresponding software and data.
- Participates as team member with corresponding systems analysis, configuration, and application support responsibilities on Finance related projects.
- Participates as a team member in the preparation, testing and implementation of Finance related systems, system enhancements and system upgrades.
- Prepares user requirements and other technical specifications for Finance related work, systems functions, and processes.
- Tracks, analyzes, and tests potential fixes, enhancements and/or solutions to existing Finance related issues.
- Provides regular status updates on open issues, requests, and projects.
- Collaborates with other departments like IT, SST and Service Line Managers to implement fixes, enhancements, integrations, and projects in support of Finance operations and priorities.
- Documents fixes, enhancements, and solutions. Documentation to include initial problem, detail of fixes, enhancements, processes and/or solutions which include any system configuration, testing, access permissions, reporting, analysis, and ongoing support responsibilities
- Actively seeks out system and process improvements to increase performance and productivity and reduce expenses.
- Develops training documents, prepares training, performs training, and handles communication related to training for software functionality, system tasks, business processes and reporting.
- Maintains effective and service-oriented relationships with departmental and organizational level caregivers.
- Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices and reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
Requirements
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in computer science, Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 2 - 3 years of experience within Finance area required; hospital or healthcare Finance experience is preferred
- 2 - 3 years of support of Finance applications, data analysis and/or reporting required
Annual Compensation Range $79,497.60 - $127,212.80 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
