Requirements

Sr. Software Engineer with strong Scala experience:

Looking for STRONG Senior Scala backend developer preferably with AWS Cloud experience
Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and be able to describe their experience in details and explain their thought process in how they solve certain problems.
A coding exercise is required as part of the interview process.
Position will be onsite until further notice

JOB DUTIES: Working within an Agile team, develop scalable backend software, using TDD. Develop Scala/Java applications running in an AWS environment.

REQUIRED experience: *5+ years hands-on experience with Scala *Profound insight of Scala Internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Concurrency, Futures, Multithreading.) *Building low-latency & high volume, distributed, scalable and reliable backend systems *RESTFul APIs

PREFERRED experience: *AWS *Cats Effect, Http4s, Fs2, Akka *Spring *Frontend experience a plus *Deere experience a plus
