Job description
ARS is seeking a Journeyman Network and Computer Systems Administrator with an active Secret clearance at Hill AFB in Ogden, UTAH. The candidate will provide Tier I and Tier II system administration and user support for armament program network systems, including system configuration, troubleshooting, and help desk operations across classified and unclassified., * Supporting Tier I and Tier II IT systems.
- Imaging, patching, and configuring classified/unclassified systems.
- Managing of SharePoint.
- Administrating and operating Help Desk ticketing system.
- Providing customer service support via in-person, email, phone, remote, etc.
- Providing technical support for briefing setups, presentations, VTCs, and online meetings.
- IT Equipment custodian management duties and responsibilities to include performing inventory and equipment destruction/transfers.
- Performing maintenance of functional and reliable telecommunication services for customer programs. Includes classified Secure Telephone Units, Secure Telephone Voice over IP (STU III/STE/vIPer/SVOIP) phones), fax, voicemail, VTC, desktop VTC, and overhead projection services/equipment.
- Performing mobile device support and configuration.
- Administrating and operating commercially hosted websites (e.g., www.tmtcg.org, www.jmwwr.org) and cloud-based systems.
- Assisting end-users with the operation, restoration of information, and access to business systems.
- Creating and maintaining organizational boxes, folder permissions, security groups, and assists with distribution groups.
- Performing Cyber Security Liaison duties.

Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- Active Secret security clearance required
- Education and experience requirements must meet one of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (IRD) with 7 years of relevant experience (RE); or
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (IRD) with 5 years of relevant experience (RE) and DoD 8140 IAT Level III certification; or
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline (IRD) with 5 years of relevant experience (RE); or
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline (IRD) with 3 years of relevant experience (RE) and DoD 8140 IAT Level III certification
- Relevant experience includes system administration, network support, and IT operations within a DoD or enterprise environment
- Experience supporting Tier I and Tier II IT systems, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Experience with system imaging, patching, and configuration of classified and/or unclassified systems
- Familiarity with Help Desk ticketing systems and end-user support
- Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Working knowledge of SharePoint and collaboration tools
- Understanding of DoD cybersecurity requirements and best practices
