- Strategic Vision & Future Marketing Evolution
- Define and evangelize the "NorthStar" vision for marketing transformation, articulating how technology and precision tools will elevate customer experience and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Serve as a thought leader on the future of marketing, driving clarity around how digital tools and emerging technologies can transform brand strategy, execution, and measurement.
- Report to C-suite on "ecosystem ROI" (e.g., revenue lift, etc.), enforcing the key message of high-impact, culturally-resonated marketing experience.
- Product Strategy & Build - Precision Marketing Ecosystem build
- Lead the strategy of next generation precision marketing by influencing and leveraging e2e digital capabilities, incl. data layer, AI layer, content layer, activation layer, and Rx attribution layer spanning HCP, DTC, and Payer engagement.
- Be accountable for bringing in tools for 3rd party/media/social, e.g. media clean room, precision targeting, configuration, measurements, etc. Own "compliance-by-design" (HIPAA/GDPR, FDA 21 CFR Part 11) fully aligned with architect, privacy and legal
- Make sure to incorporate the own-channel digital marketing tools into the broader/future-oriented precision marketing ecosystem with maximum synergy.
- Guide the evolution of the marketer's role through properly reinventing workflow, enable tooling, ensuring upgraded standard, then ultimately ensuring personalized reach as scale.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with GTMC, Brand Marketing, and Digital teams to build and align on interconnected Precision Marketing roadmaps.
- Clarify roles and responsibilities across teams (digital, data, arch, medical, franchise) to drive accountability and seamless collaboration on shared initiatives.
- Collaborate with franchise and market teams to strictly follow global strategy and priority, while balance regional nuances to ensure consistent delivery and value realization.
- Product Delivery & Vendor Management
- Drive the selection of precision marketing solutions (build vs. buy vs. partnering), ensure deliveries are strictly prioritized to complete on time, within budget, and deliver on KPIs.
- Manage partnership strategy and execution with external partners (vendors, agencies, analytics/AI providers) to enhance capabilities from time to time. Oversee pilot programs and scale-up strategies for precision media, data-driven content personalization, and journey orchestration.
- Innovation & Emerging Technology
- Stay ahead of marketing trends, technology innovations, and customer engagement models to future-proof Sanofi's marketing approach.
- Champion the testing and adoption of AI, data analytics, and real-time decisioning tools to evolve marketing operations and media buying.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, masters preferred, ideally in Marketing, Business, Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, or marketing transformation in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical conversations.
- Proven track record leading marketing strategy, personalization efforts, or precision media initiatives in a global organization.
- Solid understanding of modern digital marketing in real life and related technologies (e.g., genAI content generation, MMX/MTA, journey orchestration, CDPs, marketing automation, etc.)., * Experience managing enterprise-wide digital or marketing transformation programs.
- Knowledge of privacy and compliance considerations in data-driven marketing in regulated environments.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry

The salary range for this position is: $187,500.00 - $270,833.33
