Job description
The Network Engineer II is responsible to the Manager, Software and Services, for installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Landis+Gyr system's network engineering infrastructure.
Network engineering responsibilities supporting production, infrastructure, and security include:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining all network engineering equipment.
- Configure, maintain, and document all network elements supporting customer connectivity.
- Maintain and troubleshoot WAN/LAN and Cloud network connectivity.
- Work in tandem with our operation and cloud teams to identify and implement the most optimal solutions for the company

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is in business or related field
6+ years of experience in:
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Cisco, WAN/LAN, routing and switching network design and troubleshooting
- Linux/Unix/Windows experience
- Cloud networking configuration and troubleshooting
- Network Load Balancer installation and management
- Network Firewall installation and management
- Experience with IP Address Management (IPAM) for IPv4 and IPv6
- Experience with Change Management process and procedures
- Experience with Technical Documentation - network drawings, and process/procedure
Certifications/Licenses:
- CCNA certification preferred
- Associate Cloud Engineer or similar certification preferred

Personal Protection Equipment/Other OHSAS-18001 Safety Requirements: Ensure the continued efforts and assist in achieving annual goals of health, safety, and environmental policies. Must be current with available OSHA/Safety Training provided by the Company. If required, must be able to work while wearing safety equipment such as hard hats, work boats, gloves, hearing protection, and others., Pay is in the range of $74,200 - $100,287 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
