Job description

This is a role within Chamberlain Group's Marketing function. This role is ideal for a hands on CDP practitioner who can manage data pipelines, define audience logic, and operationalize customer data across marketing and lifecycle channels to drive measurable engagement and performance.

This role will (i) Serve as the primary power user of the Customer Data Platform (CDP), ensuring optimal configuration and utilization of its features by Marketing and other teams (ii) Manage end-to-end CDP workflows including data ingestion and integration requirements, audience segmentation, and activation and ensure outputs reliably support marketing and business use cases. (iii) Partner with IT and the rest of the Marketing org to translate personalization and measurement needs into CDP-ready requirements (events, attributes, audiences, and activation specifications), enabling execution., * Work with a team of CDP engineers and analysts to build integrations, deploy tags, and create audiences

  • Work on continuous improvement efforts across teams to enhance efficiencies and support business strategies via our CDP
  • Be the subject matter expert on what's possible with our existing data and technology and what's needed to meet evolving requirements, educating stakeholders and partnering with them to shape requests for enhancements
  • Working with stakeholders, prioritize internal IT and vendor work for the CDP with a focus on achieving business goals and KPIs
  • Ensure best practices are followed in development and use of the CDP, including in audience requirements and execution; Champion marketing audiences across channels to ensure commercial teams are aware of available audiences and encourage the adoption of marketing audiences as new audiences are available
  • Oversee weekly ticket grooming and backlog prioritization sessions to support marketing strategy and program initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze CDP performance metrics to optimize audience targeting, segmentation accuracy, and marketing effectiveness
  • Stay up to date on best practices and emerging trends to recommend enhancements and improvements
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Technology or related field, * This role requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer data platforms with1+ years' experience leading projects and enhancements for customer data platforms.
  • Experience with Agile process in a product owner or business analyst capacity
  • 8+ years of experience including extensive knowledge of marketing technology implementation
  • Prior experience working on a virtual team within a highly matrixed organization, preferably for a global corporation or professional services firm
  • Proven experience driving marketing transformation initiatives in large, matrixed organizations
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts

  • Ability to work in matrixed organization
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment and build trusted relationships across a diverse group of stakeholders
  • An understanding of how to communicate priorities, mitigate impacts, and manage multiple technical projects with competing deadlines and stakeholders, and where requirements often change.
  • Executive presence with the ability to present ideas, make recommendations, provide rationale, and advise leaders and their teams on communications and marketing strategy

Other:

  • Ability to travel 10% - internationally and domestically, * Working knowledge of SQL and Tealium tag manager
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and experience in Workfront are a plus

Benefits & conditions

The pay range for this position is $102,600.00 - $165,375.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
