Job description

You'll work hands-on across AWS services, Java/Spring applications, and container environments to strengthen cloud security posture and modernize workloads. Daily responsibilities include resolving findings from automated security scans, upgrading dependencies, applying AWS best practices, improving WAF rules, and supporting migrations from EC2 to AWS Fargate. Both developers will collaborate closely with each other and with an operations team to ensure code quality, infrastructure alignment, and reliable cloud application performance.

Requirements

AWS Cloud Development: Strong experience with AWS services including S3, IAM, EC2, ECS, and Fargate.
Java / Spring: Ability to update backend code and remediate application-level vulnerabilities.
Security Remediation: Experience addressing issues identified by scanning tools such as AWS Inspector or CrowdStrike.
AWS WAF: Ability to configure and enhance WAF rules to protect against exploits.
Containerization: Experience with Docker and container best practices.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
AI-Assisted Development: Ability to use AI tools for code analysis, test generation, and remediation support.
