Sr. DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer supporting IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and observability in a primarily Azure / Azure DevOps environment, with Terraform, GitHub, AWS, and New Relic in use. This role focuses on building and standardizing infrastructure and delivery automation that enables engineering teams to deploy consistently and efficiently.

Day-to-Day

• Build and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code for Azure environments.
• Create and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub (including reusable templates and workflows).
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and deployment standards across environments.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to reduce manual effort.
• Partner with application teams to improve deployment workflows and developer experience.
• Support observability enablement by helping teams adopt consistent telemetry and monitoring patterns using New Relic. Document standards, pipelines, and IaC patterns to support team adoption and scale.

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Terraform (modules, state management, best practices).
• CI/CD pipeline experience with Azure DevOps.
• GitHub (repos, branching, PR workflows; GitHub Actions preferred). Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Exposure to AWS in a multi-cloud or hybrid environment.
• Experience with New Relic or similar observability tools.
• Experience with container platforms (AKS/Kubernetes). Experience integrating quality/security checks into pipelines (validation, scanning, policy).
