IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description: Perform infrastructure upgrade tasks for vSphere 8 Work with other infrastructure teams and application end-users to perform various infrastructure maintenance tasks Assess situations and perform proactive analytics for change to minimize issues before they evolve Perform various infrastructure expansion tasks as it relates to VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, and Dell Conducting basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis for VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, and Dell issues To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following (Qualifications): Strong background in virtualization and hardware troubleshooting, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with internal clients to resolve issues Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex network issues Working knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting VMware vSphere products Working knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco UCS Working knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting Dell hardware

Supplier Notes: About Project- VMWARE, Configure and determination, upgrading the infrastructure hardware refresher and firmware and underlined application need to be upgraded Top 4-5 skills for both roles VMWARE vSphere 7, 8 CISCO UCS Hardware familiarity PowerShell is nice to have Dell Hardware Hyper-V/Vcenter Call Notes: Infrastructure Engineer BNY77448 Level II Mon-Friday (8 am to 5 pm EST) 2 days onsite and open for remote location, for onsite open for any BNY location (NY, NJ, PA, FL) will prefer skills candidate first not local candidate (ok to remote) 6-12 months duration Min. 3-5 years of experience Operations side maintenance of infrastructure and mainly work with Virtualization infrastructure, VMware Will be Upgrading Hardware firmware and Cisco UCS infrastructure Upgrade CISCO UCS infrastructure and director central environment hardware infrastructure and ESXI upgraded to vSphere 8 Executing the scripts and basic trouble shooting environment exposure to large environment and complex environment and naming windows scripting and basic troubleshooting and script typical handle more complex issue that arise by the team Exp with vSphere infrastructure Large environment/enterprise exp is required Basic Scripting exp Knowledge of VCenter 3 interviews round PowerShell knowledge is good to have Dell hardware exp
