Job description
The Cyber Solution Architect supports CNI's Business Development (BD) and Operations functions by managing new client engagements and guiding technical resources on project execution. Must be able to advise clients with strategic and tactical guidance on Cyber Security solutions and how technology enables a wide range of business outcomes. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role ensures organizational alignment and readiness for opportunities in the IT / Cyber Security Strategy. Demonstrates IT / Cyber Security Engineering and Architecture, Information Assurance and Risk Management, Vulnerability and Threat Management, IT Compliance, Incident Response, Data Privacy and IT Risk.
This position plays a critical role in solution assessment, development, and execution, guiding both the BD team and Federal Operations teams. By assuming key analytical and coordination responsibilities, the Cyber Solutions Architect will be responsible for ensuring the quality of delivery across a broad range of Cyber Security engagements, providing technical guidance to project execution teams, and building a strong Cyber capability within the company by identifying solutions to meet client business objectives., Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Partners with the Business Development team to support new business strategies, including the development of technical solutions, basis of estimates, white papers, industry relationships, and responses to RFIs.

Provides expert guidance during capture efforts and proposal writing, linking frontline operational insights to increase probability of winning (PWin).

Ensures that the newest advances and concepts presented by our BD team to clients, are executed by our operations teams 'on the ground'.

Improves proposal success rates, project outcomes, and reputation for delivering innovative, reliable results across our federal programs.

Manages fielded cyber operations teams as an advisor and quality controller, ensuring clients are receiving solutions as contracted.

Creates reporting and presentations for Board of Directors, Investment/M&A committee and Executive Leadership.

Continuously performs comprehensive research and analysis of market trends, industry developments, potential opportunities for growth and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and identify emerging opportunities or threats.

Creates reports and presentations for senior management to support pipeline development, investment insight and strategic priorities.

Builds and nurtures strong relationships with internal teams, external advisors, and industry contacts to enhance collaboration, streamline due diligence processes, and support comprehensive evaluations of potential investments.

Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

Cyber / Cloud Security certification (CISSP, GSEC, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CCSS, etc.)

Experience in Zero Trust Environments Security Operations Center (SOC), Cloud Systems Security, and working knowledge of Information Assurance practices., Bachelor's degree in IT, Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical related discipline. Masters degree in IT-related discipline desired. Five plus (5+) years' experience in cyber security business development or management consulting, from a top Federal-facing management or IT professional services firm, with experience managing and growing client engagements and interfacing with Federal Executives, Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.
Benefits & conditions
The estimated pay range for this role is $150K to $180K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
