Job description
- Support and maintain AWS Lambda functions, including writing and deploying new Python code.
- Manage AWS CDK (Infrastructure as Code) stacks for Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
- Monitor CloudWatch logs, alarms, and SNS alert pipelines.
- Manage credentials and access policies using AWS Secrets Manager and IAM.
- Troubleshoot and maintain SaaS integrations, including OAuth token lifecycles and API connections.
- Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and OneLogin SSO.
- Provide Tier 1-3 end-user support for user access, endpoint, and system issues, particularly when other IT personnel are unavailable.
- Assist with networking tasks, including Meraki VPN and AWS VPC connectivity.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated deployments.
- Perform database optimization and querying for SQL Server.
Requirements
We are seeking a hands-on Cloud and Systems Engineer to support and maintain our AWS-hosted infrastructure, serverless workloads, Windows server environment, Mac OS environment, and day-to-day IT operations. This position blends cloud infrastructure operations (75%) with support responsibilities (25%). The role is ideal for a proactive and resourceful individual with foundational cloud experience who is eager to deepen their expertise in a fast-paced environment. This position will work 100% onsite at our corporate headquarters, with occasional travel to other local sites., Experience: 2-3 years of experience in IT systems administration or infrastructure support.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK or CloudFormation) and serverless architectures.
- Proficiency in both writing and deploying Python code for Lambda functions.
- Windows Server administration and Active Directory / SSO (e.g., OneLogin) support.
- Required experience with Mac OS environments.
- Foundational networking knowledge (VPNs, routing, firewalls), including Meraki environments.
- Experience with SQL Server, focusing on database optimization and querying.
- Experience managing API integrations and credential lifecycles.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certification is a plus.
- Experience supporting system transitions or migrations.
Benefits & conditions
The anticipated compensation for this position is $90,000 to $105,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
