Job description
- Infrastructure Assessment: Conduct comprehensive audits of existing customer infrastructure to collect data on hardware, storage, and networking. Develop detailed audit reports that identify critical deficiencies, technical debt, and risks.
- Hybrid Cloud Strategy: Build and drive the "Target State" architecture vision across public and private cloud environments. Create multi-year modernization roadmaps that leverage the right mix of technology-optimizing costs by using public cloud for variable workloads while keeping sensitive operations secure in private clouds or on-premises.
- Strategic Transformation: Drive large-scale migrations from legacy on-premises infrastructure to modern hybrid and multi-cloud architectures. Partner with stakeholders to align technology investments with business priorities, focusing on ROI and performance optimization.
- Solution Design: Architect scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise-wide systems. Incorporate microservices, zero-trust security, and automated disaster recovery tailored for both public cloud scalability and private cloud control.
- Consultative Leadership: Act as a primary advisor to executive leadership (CTOs/CIOs). Translate complex technical trade-offs into actionable business value propositions.
- Governance & Standards: Define and enforce architectural principles and policies across all deployment models. Chair Architecture Review Boards (ARB) to ensure projects adhere to enterprise security and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GovRAMP).
- Innovation: Lead proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for emerging technologies like AI-driven automation, serverless computing, and edge computing to accelerate digital transformation.
Requirements
- Experience: 12+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in an enterprise architecture leadership or senior consulting role.
- Technical Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of public cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, or GCP ) and private cloud technologies. Deep understanding of virtualization, networking protocols, storage solutions (SAN/NAS), and IAM frameworks.
- Methodologies: Proficiency in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman and experience with Agile and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines.
- Consulting Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to bridge the technical "engine room" and executive "penthouse".
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's preferred.
Preferred Certifications
- Enterprise Architecture: The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
- Public Cloud Architecture: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Private/Hybrid Cloud: VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) or Nutanix Certified Master - Multicloud Infrastructure (NCM-MCI).
- Networking: Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this role is $135,000- $205,000
to] annually based on a full-time schedule. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. In addition to base salary, other compensation programs, depending on eligibility, include an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance [OR] a role-based, sales-incentive plan, and an equity grant under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
