Appian Developer

We have an immediate opportunity for an Appian Developer to join a client engagement in Hartford, Connecticut, working onsite. This is a 6-month contract role with a competitive vendor rate of $95/hr and an ASAP start date. The role is focused on delivering BPM solutions using the Appian platform, supporting IT service, support, and operations initiatives within a Financial Services environment. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Appian-based applications across the software development life cycle, while collaborating closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

To be successful in this position, one needs to be proficient in Appian development and possess strong experience in technology consulting and BPM solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the full SDLC, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and the ability to directly interface with clients to gather requirements and provide solution guidance. Exposure to the Financial Services domain is highly preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and adaptability to dynamic project environments are critical for success in this role.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, with flexibility to consider three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education. Candidates should have 3 5 years of relevant experience in Appian and related technologies.
