Job description
Residency Requirement: Candidate MUST be a current South Carolina resident. Core Responsibilities Data Visualization: Design, implement, and maintain highly complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports. Project Management: Lead tasks associated with the database migration, preparing status reports for stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality delivery. Architecture & Analysis: Evaluate and normalize data sources, analyze processing architectures and data dictionaries, and conduct tests to forecast performance thresholds. Strategy & Consultation: Develop strategies for technical documentation and serve as the technical expert for the agency's information technology applications. System Monitoring: Monitor database traffic, usage, and performance to proactively plan for the organization's future data management needs. Stakeholder Engagement: Interface across agency offices to gain consensus on architectural strategies and communicate technical standards to senior leadership. Required Experience & Skills
Requirements
Project Management: 2+ years of professional experience managing IT-related projects. Power BI Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying complex Power BI solutions. Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of Privacy and Data Governance principles. Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with senior officials and vendors, both verbally and in writing. Preferred Qualifications BI Tools: 5+ years of experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools. Technical Depth: Experience in Database Architecture, Change Management, and Business Continuity. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (4 years of related experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis).
