Windows Systems Administrator

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments at a senior level
• Manage VMware Horizon (Omnissa) VDI infrastructure and image lifecycle
• Design and maintain advanced Group Policy configurations
• Build and enhance PowerShell automation for imaging, patching, and GPO workflows
• Support on-prem backend systems; collaborate with networking as needed
• Convert faculty/instructional requirements into deployable images and configurations
• Work within ITSM/ticketing workflows and maintain strong documentation standards
• Operate independently with clear communication and proactive problem-solving

We're seeking a Senior Windows System Administrator to support a complex, hybrid on-prem environment with a strong emphasis on VDI, automation, and image management. This role is hands-on, fast-moving, and ideal for someone who can independently own systems, streamline workflows, and translate instructional or operational needs into reliable technical solutions., Required Technical Skills

• Senior-level Windows Server / Systems Administration
• VMware Horizon (Omnissa) VDI administration
• Deep Active Directory + Group Policy design/management
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation
• Experience in hybrid/on-prem infrastructure environments
• Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing systems
• Ability to translate user needs into technical configurations
