Job description
- Collaborate with partners across operations, marketing, products/customer experience, pricing, risk, and other functions to define problems and deliver analytic solutions.
- Research business processes and proactively identify opportunities for analytics, modeling, and decision automation.
- Design, build, validate, and evolve supervised and unsupervised machine learning models using established methodologies such as Logistic Regression, Random Forests, Gradient Boosting, and Support Vector Machines.
- Advance customer behavioral segmentation and predictive models to support business strategy and execution.
- Design and implement advanced analytics and forecasting models, ensuring robustness, interpretability, and business relevance.
- Perform recurring reporting and build dashboards (Tableau) to enable insight-driven decision making.
- Partner with IT and Enterprise Data Management teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and governed analytics solutions.
- Contribute to identifying, evaluating, and responsibly applying Generative AI opportunities across analytics use cases.
- Mentor peers and support ad-hoc analytic requests as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 6+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or business analytics.
- Strong background in statistical modeling and machine learning, with hands-on experience applying common algorithms in production or business environments.
- Experience with Python, Spark, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS).
- BI and dashboarding experience (Tableau preferred).
- Strong Generative AI knowledge and demonstrated interest, including awareness of model capabilities, limitations, and responsible use considerations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate analytical results into clear, actionable insights for business partners.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across functions., * Master's or PhD in a quantitative field.
- Experience modernizing analytics platforms or data science workflows.
- Preferred experience with Snowflake.
- Knowledge of time-series forecasting methods (e.g., ARIMA, LSTM) to business problems.
- Experience designing and implementing end-to-end analytic processes, including MLOps and version control.
- Ability to translate business problems into technical frameworks and convert model outputs into actionable insights.
