Tri-County Technical College invites applicants to the role of part-time/temporary Testing Facilitator. Reporting to the Director, Testing Center, the testing facilitator provides information and support for prospective and current students seeking to utilize Testing services on multiple campuses.
- Assists with the proctoring, troubleshooting exams and computers, filing and returning of academic tests.
- Proctors placement test and informs students regarding the enrollment step following placement testing.
- Serves as the first point of contact for check-in.
- Enters data provided by students utilizing testing services.
- Responds promptly and effectively (by phone, e-mail, and in person) to inquiries.
- Enters placement scores into the BANNER student information system.
- Maintains strict confidentiality regarding student information and scores.
- Maintains hard copies of results in secured files.
- Represents the College positively and appropriately at off-campus locations.
This position requires; effective oral and written communications skills; sound judgment; the ability to work well with the general public, faculty and staff members; good problem-solving skills; the ability to maintain confidentiality about tests and candidates; the ability to be alert during long stretches of quiet time; and the ability to maintain control of the room without distracting the clients.
This is a part-time non-benefited role.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, An associate degree or a high school education and two (2) years of demonstrated related work experience are required., * The ability to deliver effective service to prospective and current students in a supportive and professional manner.
