Job description

Leidos is currently seeking a Field Technicianto join our team. This individual will be part of a small, technical build team that provide expertise into the imaging and configuring of project desktop devices (workstations, laptops and scientific workstations).

Primary Responsibilities

Load workstations with the requested operating platforms as designated by the customer to the organization's local and wide area networks.

Provide required software installs.

Performance monitoring disk management.

Maintain system security.

Requirements

Proven experience working in a technical position.

  • Requires BS and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
  • Skilled at prioritization, communications, and multi-tasking.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Identify errors in imaging process, document and convey errors, provide trouble shooting assistance to appropriate support and image development teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments while still meeting tight timeframes.
  • Experience with programming, software development, systems integration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Systems Administration duties
  • Experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Logistics experience
