Job description

As a Test Engineer, you will develop and document test plans for newly developed or current hardware and solutions products. You will partner with a test team during test execution and report results to development engineers and leadership. Finally, you will work with external validation partners to develop comprehensive test plans and test coverage across multiple test organizations., * Provide test engineering support for manufacturing test processes, including weekends as needed

  • Assist in collecting test requirements and creating basic test plans and test cases
  • Follow risk management plans and execute test automation scripts
  • Document text execution progress and issues
  • Mentor and share best practices with test technicians

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in electronics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Understanding of server hardware and software system architecture and their interactions
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of computer network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating system, commands, and utilities
  • Experience with developing test automation scripts
