Job description
Supermicro is seeking an experienced System Engineer who can lead the AI solutions development and integration on GPU server/workstation system product, in charge of the product from the development stage to EOL. As a System Engineer, you will play a key role in development the GPU server products, by leading projects in multiple area of expertise, including design, testing, installation, troubleshoot and debug with members from cross-functional teams., Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
- Support PM product from inception to production and EOL
- Deliver System concepts and designs in collaboration with system PM, Motherboard PM, chassis PM and thermal teams.
- Ongoing support for PM and sales, including system assembly, functional testing, thermal test, production and other related tasks.
- Identify product improvements and implement selected improvements.
- Understand customer needs and competitor products to aid product improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor or EE, CE, CS or ME, with minimum of 5 years working experience
- Strong knowledge in embedded/Edge/IoT system products
- Strong knowledge in computer architecture (Intel, AMD, ARM), fanless and air-cooled system designs standard computer interfaces (including PCIe, SATA, and USB interfaces) and OS applications,
- Knowledge in industry standards, benchmark and testing,
- Knowledge about in-band and OOB (IPMI/BIOS) management is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Salary Range
Benefits & conditions
$120,000 - $165,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
