Network Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain complex LAN/WAN network environments
• Serve as a technical lead, providing guidance and mentorship to network staff
• Architect and support multi-platform enterprise networks
• Configure and manage network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure network security and reliability
• Support and enhance network infrastructure across diverse operational environments
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders on projects and upgrades
• Participate in evaluating and selecting future technologies, including firewall solutions
• Maintain documentation, diagrams, and procedural standards

Technical Environment

• Cisco-based Layer 2/Layer 3 networking
• BGP routing
• Check Point firewalls
• Primarily on-premise infrastructure with early-stage cloud adoption
• Exposure to future cloud and security architecture decisions

• Bachelors or Associates Degree
• Experience:4-6+ years of professional networking experience
• Strong expertise in LAN/WAN environments
• Proven experience with routing protocols (especially BGP)
• Hands-on experience with VLANs and network architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ansible or network automation
• Exposure to Azure cloud networking
