Job description
UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Software Engineer in New York, NY Are you an innovative thinker? Do you enjoy delivering enhanced change capabilities across a range of business functions? Are you passionate about IT process automation using cutting edge tooling platforms?, Design, develop, and execute performance and API test scripts to ensure software reliability and scalability. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Analyze and troubleshoot software performance issues and API functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Developers, Product Owners, Stream Test Leads to define testing requirements and deliverables. Monitor, track, and report on testing progress, issues, and outcomes. Continuously explore and recommend improvements in tools and processes for better testing efficiency. Train and upskill team in testing best practices and methodologies. Assist with L3 production support/issue investigation and remediation. Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).
Requirements
Education & Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Project Engineer, or a related occupation.
Position requires experience with the following: UI and Performance testing tools such as Selenium and Cucumber; API testing tools such as UFT; Programming languages such as Java, SQL, and VB Script; Issue tracking software; Sybase; SQL Server; Version control software; CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab and Team City.
Benefits & conditions
