Job description
As a Cyber Security Administrator, you will provide hands on network and cybersecurity administration support to ensure secure, compliant, and modern network infrastructures. You will focus on firewall operations, infrastructure modernization, and regulatory compliance while supporting daily security operations and participating in on call and after hours maintenance activities., * Review, process, and execute firewall service requests, break fix tickets, and approved change requests.
- Administer and configure next generation and traditional firewall platforms.
- Support decommissioning and refresh of end of life network and security hardware.
- Implement and maintain security configurations to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firewall and network security issues.
- Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and emergency after hours response.
- Contribute to documentation and change management practices.

Requirements
- Experience administering Palo Alto firewalls including zones, security policies, VPNs, NAT, and threat prevention.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco ASA firewalls.
- Strong understanding of general networking concepts including routing, subnetting, and the OSI model.
- Experience processing firewall changes, service requests, and incident tickets.
- Familiarity with security compliance standards and regulated environments.
- Ability to participate in on call rotations and after hours maintenance activities.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to pass required background and clearance checks.
