Data Engineer (GCP / Telecom / Genesys Migration)

Seeking a Data Engineer (Mid Senior Level) with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support a large-scale migration from Avaya to Genesys contact center platform. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines for telecom interaction data including call records, transcripts, and metadata. Key Skills:

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable data pipelines on GCP
• Ingest and process structured & semi-structured data (JSON, XML, DBs)
• Develop workflows using Airflow / Cloud Composer
• Build and optimize datasets in BigQuery
• Manage data ingestion via GCS
• Support data modeling for analytics and reporting
• Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP (BigQuery, GCS, Airflow)
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with ETL/ELT and data pipeline design
• Experience working with structured and semi-structured data
• Strong communication skills and Agile experience

Preferred:

• Telecom / Contact Center experience (IVR, CDR, voice data)
• Experience with Genesys or Avaya migration projects
• Knowledge of data lake architecture
• GCP Certifications
