Job description

We are seeking a Technical Scrum Master in Pennington, NJ. In this role, the TSM will facilitate all core Agile ceremonies-including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement to enable consistent, transparent delivery across highly technical engineering teams. This person will proactively remove delivery impediments, identify risks and dependencies, and continuously improve team flow and execution within a complex enterprise environment. The TSM will serve as a key communication bridge between engineering teams, business partners, and third-party vendors, translating technical concepts into clear, stakeholder-friendly updates. On a daily basis, this role will partner with internal and external teams to resolve access and integration challenges, support the delivery of internal infrastructure monitoring dashboards, and surface delivery insights and improvement opportunities to leadership. The TSM will also assist teams as internal tooling transitions to ServiceNow as the enterprise platform, ensuring Agile principles are applied effectively without owning solution design or engineering decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile and SAFe / ART environments

  • Strong technical understanding of modern software delivery practices

  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar)

  • Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and remove delivery impediments

  • Strong communication skills to bridge technical teams and business stakeholders

  • Technical judgment to identify risks, dependencies, and technical debt (without acting as a technical lead) * Experience working in scaled or multi-team Agile environments

  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation

  • Exposure to AI/ML workflows

  • Strong coaching mindset with conflict resolution and emotional intelligence

  • Experience supporting enterprise platform migrations (ex: ServiceNow)
