Job description

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will design and implement scalable, maintainable test automation solutions to ensure high quality across a consolidated platform of web applications. You will work closely with developers and Agile teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC, support DevOps driven CI/CD pipelines, and promote a strong culture of test automation and continuous testing., * Design, build, and maintain automated tests for web applications, APIs, and middleware.

  • Implement automation strategies that integrate with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Act as the SDET for one or more Agile scrum teams, collaborating with developers, product owners, and scrum masters.
  • Assist with test data creation, management, and automation refresh strategies.
  • Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and code repositories.
  • Support CI/CD automation and release quality activities.
  • Promote and enable BDD practices using Gherkin and related frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of professional experience, or equivalent advanced degree and experience.
  • Strong experience in test automation within Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Proficiency in object oriented programming, preferably Java.
  • Experience automating UI and API tests using modern frameworks.
  • Hands on experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of version control and test management platforms.
  • Experience with Agile practices and continuous testing methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
