Responsibilities: As a Software Developer you will have the opportunity to do the following:

• Demonstrate a knowledge of standard programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software design
• Develop, evaluate, and review C++ language code programming using C++, Python 3, and MATLAB
• Have experience with model-based system engineering approaches
• Collaborate with team members to design future enhancements

• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant work experience
• BS in Computer Science or Engineering. Degrees in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or Aerospace, Computer, Software Systems, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering may qualify with at least 5 year's of C++ experience
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

Pay Transparency Statement: AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $91,600.00/Yr. - USD $153,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. AMERICAN SYSTEMS provides for the welfare of its employees and their dependents through a comprehensive benefits program by offering healthcare benefits, paid leave, retirement plans, insurance programs, and education and training assistance.
