  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to explore and validate new concepts.

  • Elevate design quality through systems thinking, critique, and mentorship within the design team., This role is based remotely, but if the selected candidate lives within a specific mile radius of a GM hub, they will be expected to report to the location three times a week {or other frequency dictated by your manager}.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing complex digital products with strong systems and information architecture.

  • Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear UX frameworks and interaction models.

  • Advanced proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a cross-functional, distributed environment.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience working on advanced, exploratory, or innovation-focused design initiatives.

  • Comfort working ahead of roadmap delivery and shaping early-stage product direction.
